Overview

The earnings call presents a mixed picture: strong revenue growth and optimistic future guidance are counterbalanced by challenges such as supply chain delays and increased costs impacting margins. The Q&A reveals potential opportunities in tariff-free production but also highlights uncertainties in expansion financing and logistics. The lack of a share repurchase program and marginal dividend further contribute to a neutral outlook. The overall sentiment is balanced with positive growth prospects but tempered by operational and financial risks, suggesting a neutral stock price movement over the next two weeks.

Key Q&A

Q:Given all the talk about tariffs recently with the new administration, has that benefited or increased the number of conversations you're having?
A:We anticipate more and more brands and buyers are going to look for production and manufacturing facilities in tariff-free countries, which is a great opportunity for us.
Q:In terms of if you run kind of a test order for a customer, what's the typical conversion rate from test run to more of a full production run?
A:The conversion rate is pretty high; once we start a test order, in most cases, the customer will issue long-term orders.
Q:What are you seeing in terms of demand as it relates to the U.S. Consumer and apparel inventories and buying?
A:60% of the customers told us that most of the inventories they already absorbed during the past two years, they are going to place new orders.
Q:When does the delayed shipments of $6,000,000 flow through the P&L?
A:Most of them were shipped in January already, and that's how we anticipate the growth to be 50% to 53%.
Q:How should we think about the SG&A costs going forward? Is that sort of low $4,000,000 a good run rate?
A:Yes, the low $4,000,000 would be a good run rate.
Q:Could you just break it down a little bit more in detail, especially in terms of the logistics of getting things through the Red Sea?
A:We are getting containers through the Red Sea now, but we do have to pay slightly higher container shipment costs.
Q:What would you consider your normalized good gross margin for your busiest Q2 and Q3?
A:We anticipate this fiscal year to end up around 15% to 16%.
Q:How is the Busana joint venture going?
A:The growth is relatively flat, but we are still waiting for high volume bulk orders.
Q:Do you anticipate that you would have to tap the credit markets to fund that longer-term large scale expansion plan?
A:We are open to any financing opportunities, but we haven't really decided which way to go.
Q:Review of Unclear Management Responses
A:Management's response lacked clarity regarding the specific conversion rate from test orders to full production runs, as they did not provide a percentage or concrete data.
