Baker Hughes reports that the U.S. rig count is up 7 from last week to 580 with oil rigs up 5 to 445, gas rigs up 1 to 126 and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 9. The U.S. Rig Count is up 41 rigs from last year's count of 539 with oil rigs up 20, gas rigs up 18 and miscellaneous rigs up 3. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 to 11, down 2 year-over-year. The Canada Rig Count is down 7 from last week to 190 with oil rigs down 7 to 130, gas rigs unchanged at 58 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 2. The Canada Rig Count is up 39 from last year's count of 151 with oil rigs up 28, gas rigs up 9 and miscellaneous rigs up 2.

Baker Hughes reports that the U.S. rig count is up 10 from last week to 573 with oil rigs up 7 to 440, gas rigs up 3 to 125 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 8. The U.S. Rig Count is up 26 rigs from last year's count of 547 with oil rigs up 8, gas rigs up 16 and miscellaneous rigs up 2. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is up 1 to 10, down 2 year-over-year. The Canada Rig Count is up 11 from last week to 197 with oil rigs up 8 to 137, gas rigs up 2 to 58 and miscellaneous rigs up 1 to 2. The Canada Rig Count is up 57 from last year's count of 140 with oil rigs up 43, gas rigs up 12 and miscellaneous rigs up 2.

Baker Hughe announced an award from Azule Energy to provide subsea production systems to support safe, efficient operations in Angola's Greater PAJ development. Under the agreement, Baker Hughes will supply its deepwater horizontal tree systems to optimize production in the ultra-deepwater, greenfield development. In addition, the company will supply subsea control modules and intervention workover control systems, along with associated connection, distribution and topside equipment. Baker Hughes will also provide integrated tooling and services to support installation, commissioning and ongoing production performance from its facilities in Angola, leveraging its local supply chain to increase efficiencies. Delivery of subsea trees is expected to begin in 2027.
