Bowman Consulting Group has secured $11.2M in new aerial acquisition awards under the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Production Imagery for the National Environment Blanket Purchase Agreement. The three awards span the National Resources Inventory, National Agriculture Imagery Program and Stewardship Lands Inventory programs. Together, the assignments include aerial data acquisition and processing for approximately 8.3M acres of NRI sites and 3.8M SL easement acres across 38 states, including full statewide imagery collection for eight NAIP states. The expanded scope more than doubles Bowman's prior-cycle contract value and coverage area, supported by expanded fleet capacity and advanced sensor technology. With all work expected to be completed in 2026, the awards reinforce Bowman's ability to convert organic investments in fleet capacity and sensor technology into larger federal geospatial assignments.

Bowman Consulting Group announced that it has secured a series of mining-related contracts totaling more than $4M. The awards include assignments supporting U.S.-based extractors of critical minerals and precious metals and further demonstrate Bowman's expanding role in the infrastructure-intensive natural resources markets. The assignments include structural engineering services for a copper extraction project and geospatial surveying for a gold mining operation, both located in the Western United States. Bowman was also selected for additional mining-related assignments involving multidisciplinary technical engineering, feasibility support, resource evaluation, mine planning and mineral processing services. These services will be provided for sites in the United States and Mexico.

Bowman Consulting is working with the Port of Philadelphia, or PhilaPort, to lead the waterside design, permitting and construction-phase services for the development of a cruise terminal facility on Hog Island. The assignment represents a significant component of PhilaPort's broader $50M capital initiative to convert an existing wharf into a temporary cruise terminal supporting Norwegian Cruise Line's Jewel Class vessels. Bowman is serving as the lead engineering partner for the marine-side scope of the project where it will oversee approximately $22M in waterside infrastructure improvements. The project is being delivered on an accelerated schedule to support planned cruise operations.
