Comcast Reaches Halfway Mark in Phillipsburg Network Expansion
Comcast announced a significant construction milestone in its network expansion across the Greater Phillipsburg area, with the overall project now more than halfway complete as the company works to bring its reliable, high-speed Internet network to more than 15,700 additional homes and businesses for the first time. Momentum across Warren County remains strong with construction in Greenwich, Lopatcong and Alpha nearing completion. Half of planned work in Phillipsburg is now complete and Pohatcong efforts are ramping up. As construction continues, more residents and businesses are gaining access to Internet, mobile, entertainment and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business, enhancing digital infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and positioning residents and local businesses for success in an increasingly digital world. New addresses will continue to become serviceable on a rolling basis with the full project expected to be completed by the end of the year.
