Labcorp announced the nationwide availability of ColoSense, the only RNA-based at-home test for colorectal cancer screening approved by the U.S. FDA. Offered through a commercial collaboration with test developer Geneoscopy, ColoSense expands Labcorp's comprehensive portfolio of colorectal cancer screening solutions. The test is now covered for eligible Medicare and Medicare Advantage beneficiariesi following the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services update to the National Coverage Determination in June, with additional commercial coverage also available.

Labcorp announced a collaboration with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology to advance a national, multicenter clinical trial for patients newly diagnosed with colorectal cancer. The trial will evaluate approaches to increase germline genetic testing among at-risk family members, as well as the impact of multigene panel testing on care for newly diagnosed patients. Leveraging its Invitae testing, Labcorp will serve as the exclusive genetic testing provider, supporting participating sites with its national scale and scientific expertise.

Illumina (ILMN) confirmed the election of David King to its Board of Directors, effective immediately following the company's annual meeting of shareholders. King's election marks an important addition to Illumina's Board as the company accelerates its clinical strategy to integrate genomics more broadly into the standard of care. . King is the former Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Labcorp (LH).

Labcorp announced an expanded collaboration with Epic, the nation's leading electronic health record supporting hospitals and health systems. Through the collaboration, Labcorp's full test menu will be available through Aura, Epic's unified platform for ordering and receiving lab results. The integration will drive meaningful operational efficiencies, streamline lab ordering for clinicians and care teams, and improve access to diagnostic innovation for hospitals and health systems using Epic nationwide.
