NextNRG announced it has commenced pre-construction on its California healthcare microgrid projects at Sunnyside Nursing Center in Torrance and Topanga Terrace in Canoga Park, marking the next phase in the development of the company's first owned-and-operated healthcare microgrid assets, now advancing from signed agreements into active development. Together, the systems will deliver approximately 724 kW of rooftop solar generation and 1 MWh of battery energy storage. NextNRG will own, operate and maintain the systems under 28-year power purchase agreements, giving both facilities resilient, lower-cost energy and long-term cost certainty without significant upfront capital investment.

NextNRG announced that its mobile fueling platform, EzFill, is providing on-site fuel delivery services supporting generator operations at a once-in-four-years global soccer tournament currently underway in Miami. EzFill expects to deliver more than 50,000 gallons of fuel in total to power temporary generator infrastructure at the venue. EzFill has already delivered approximately 25,000 gallons to date, fueling approximately 20 generators on-site, with an additional 25,000 gallons expected to be delivered through mid-July as the tournament concludes.

NextNRG files to sell 10M shares of common stock for holders

NextNRG "announced that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with a single new fundamental institutional investor for the purchase and sale of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock in a private placement. The gross proceeds from the offering are expected to be approximately $6.4 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other estimated offering expenses. The closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about May 27, 2026, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to support continued growth across its operating segments, strengthen working capital, accelerate strategic expansion initiatives, and eliminate outstanding convertible debt." Shares are up 20% in pre-market trading.
