Scotiabank (BNS), Sun Life (SLF) and Telus (TU) announced the launch of the AI Consortium, a model bringing together some of Canada's largest and most regulated organizations to build and govern the infrastructure needed to implement artificial intelligence at enterprise scale. The AI Consortium's program, the Agentic Control Plane, is already running in production in regulated environments.

Telus announced a partnership with ElevenLabs. The partnership makes Telus Digital a preferred implementation partner for ElevenAgents, ElevenLabs' AI voice agent platform. ElevenAgents handle high-volume, routine interactions and route complex or sensitive ones to human frontline teams. Under the partnership, enterprises can contract with ElevenLabs directly and work with Telus Digital to deploy and run the voice AI technology. Telus Digital will lead implementation, integration and governance for clients adopting ElevenAgents.

Telus is investing more than $24B over the next five years to expand and enhance its network infrastructure and operations across Ontario.
